COLAKOGLU AS was first founded in 1972 with the sole purpose of importing and exporting products of textile industry. Adapting to changing trends and niches in the global textile market, COLAKOGLU AS activated the new GIPEX® elasticized and combined yarn (PA6, PA66, PES) producing line in 1996 and started serving to various sectors like weaving, narrow-knitting, upholstery and hosiery. With quality assurance and customer satisfaction being its primary goal, COLAKOGLU AS got to be one of the leading elastic yarn (conventional and air jet covering) manufacturers and exporters in Turkey with a recently upgraded 200 tons per month production capacity. COLAKOGLU AS has worked with many companies in countries like Italy, Greece, Russia and Israel and now it is eager to extend the reach of its services.
